Participating in the HCS Direct program gives you access to competitive pricing for your patients not covered by an HCS participating health plan.
You can also increase your fit fees up to $1,700 per binaural fitting.
Here's how it works.
1. Register Patient
Login to the Provider Portal and select “referrals.” Once the info is entered and verified, the patient will appear on your appointments list. If they’re not participating in an HCS health plan, they’ll be displayed as “HCS Direct.”
2. Access Pricing
Select the patient on the appointments page. You can also access pricing when submitting a hearing aid order.
3. Billing
We’ll handle billing, communication with manufacturers, and collection. You won’t need to worry about handling, forwarding, or exchanging money, allowing you to fully concentrate on providing the best patient care.
4. Service Fees
Our service fees are highly competitive with other networks. After the patient is fit, send a signed and completed purchase agreement to us. Following completion of the trial period, we will send payment to your office.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to sign up?
If you’re already an HCS Network Provider, then you’re already participating. No need to sign up for anything.
Can I charge for a hearing test?
You can charge your normal office rate for a hearing test, as these are your patients. We’ll help you compete with the lowest costs on hearing aids.
What's a non-participating health plan?
Any health plan or partners that are not participating in the HCS program.
Is there a minimum that we have to order?
No. There’s no minimum amount of hearing aids to receive the increased fit fee.
Can I order accessories?
You can order accessories yourself or through HCS. There’s no additional reimbursement for accessories, however.
What if I'm not an HCS Network Provider?

What are the prices for HCS Direct?

Is there any additional cost to participate?
No. There are no additional cost to your patients or to your office for participating in the HCS Direct program. You simply get access to the lowest cost!
